The condition of our energy and well-being is directly connected to the way we breathe. During this course we practice several exercises that help us to breathe harmoniously.
At first we will practice harmonious breathing simple exercises that are suitable for anyone regardless of age, physical condition and so on. Afterwards we will continue to practice a sequence of movements from the ancient Tibetan Yantra Yoga, which is the eldest source of Yoga. Both approaches support each other.
Synchronizing every movement with conscious breathing we find ourselves in a perfectly relaxed state. Each yoga sequence performed in Yantra Yoga aims to guide the breath into a natural harmony with the mind and body. One of the oldest recorded systems of Yoga that exists in the world, for centuries Yantra was a closely guarded secret reserved for advanced yogic practitioners. Understanding the immense benefit it holds for everyone, Yantra Yoga was first introduced to the West in the 1970s by one of the foremost Dzogchen masters of our time, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
The course will be led by Maaja Zelmin from Tallinn. Maaja has practiced Yoga since 1982, and is an authorized Yantra Yoga instructor.
Teaching language is English, translation into Finnish is provided, if needed.
Suggested donation for the course is 50 euros, single sessions 20 euros each.
Lack of money is no barrier to participate in the course.
